Hey Shores’ peeps!
My name is Albie Selznick. I’m the returning president of The Shores Residents Association! This is my 5th (or is it 6th year?) I’ve lived here at the Shores since 1986 (WTF!!?) I guess I like it.
I’m an actor and magician. And you can find me swimming my mile each and every day as the sun is setting.
Say hi when you see me.
I’d like to try to bring a fun, positive approach to the association and foster community.

Hi Neighbors!
My name is Dawn Ferry… and I'm the returning Vice-President of
The Shores Residents Association!
For those of you who are new to the building, I am a Production Designer and I’m also involved with charities focused on Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation, Homelessness and Education. In my spare time I make wine with my friends who are Vintners up in Paso Robles. In honor of my pursuit of the perfect Syrah, we always serve wine at our meetings! I am a long time resident here, before Douglas Emmett even bought the Shores and I have seen a LOT of change. Let’s collaborate and have the changes from now on make our perfect location even better. I have seen a lot of new faces in the buildings and now that we are free at last from Quarantine I look forward to seeing/ meeting you at our events!

Cathy Karol-Crowther
Vice President (North Tower)
Cathy Karol-Crowther is a fine artist and an independent animator who teaches The Figure in Motion at Santa Monica College. Cathy has lived and worked in the Ocean Park area since the 1970's enjoying the beach, Main St , biking and swimming. Cathy has lived at The Shores for 10 years and joined the TSRA board 3 years ago .
Nicole Kuan
Secretary
Nicole is a Machine Learning Engineer and Master's Student in Biomedicine Data Science at UCLA Health. She is also a dog walker/sitter, with most of her clients being Shores Residents! In her free time, she loves running by the beach, skiing, wakesurfing, and traveling. She recently moved in and has felt incredibly welcome by all her neighbors!
WHY THE TSRA? The TSRA has a dual mandate: One is to serve as a vehicle for residents at the Shores to have their NEEDS listened to and communicated – and to ensure we are working with Management towards positive and constructive solutions to issues that arise. The other is to foster a SENSE OF COMMUNITY, by helping residents get to know one another through fun – volunteer - and sometimes informative - activities.
Creative suggestions are welcome.
